METHOD FOR FINDING WING TYPE BY USING WIND TUNNEL AND WING TYPE MODEL FOR WIND TUNNEL TEST

PURPOSE:To find a wing type which provides a target pressure distribution and to improve design accuracy and to shorten a design period by correcting the flexible surface of the wing type during air blasting in a wind channel. CONSTITUTION:During the air blasting in the wind tunnel, pressure is measured through plural static pressure holes 4 and inputted to an electronic computer 6, which calculates the difference from the target pressure distribution and computes shape correction quantities by reverse solution calculation, so that a shape correction signal is obtained from the electronic computer 6. Respective actuators 2 are put in operation with the signal and the flexible surface 3 of the model 1 is deformed to correct the wing type of the model 1 so that the target pressure distribution is realized.
