PURPOSE:To obtain a Ganoderma lucidum Karst. liquid, containing active ingredients of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. and preservable for a long period without any bitterness by reacting a hot water extract solution of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. with an enzymic liquid of rice KOJI (yeast), filtering the reaction solution and subjecting the prepared filtrate to sterilization treatment. CONSTITUTION:An enzymic liquid of rice KOJI is added and made to act on a hot water extract of Ganoderma lucidum Karst. The resultant reaction solution of action is then filtered and the prepared filtrate is then subjected to sterilization treatment to afford the objective Ganoderma lucidum Karst. liquid. The hot water extract of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. used is obtained by, e.g. boiling 1 pt. dried Ganoderma lucidum Karst. with 10-15 pts. water for 0.5-2hr. The enzymic liquid of the rice KOJI is normally obtained by leaching enzymes in the rice KOJI in water or an aqueous solution. The hot water extract solution of the Ganoderma lucidum Karst. is normally reacted with the enzymic liquid by keeping their mixture at 50-55 deg.C for 20-24hr. If the rice KOJI is saccharifed in the aforementioned hot water extract solution, the mixture of both is normally kept at 50-55 deg.C for 20-48hr.
