WORD PROCESSOR WITH NEAR-SYNONYMN DICTIONARY AND WORD PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To retrieve an appropriate near-synonymn in a short time by calling the near-synonymn whose meaning is similar to an inputted character and which is different from it from a near-synonymn dictionary. CONSTITUTION:When the character is inputted from a keyboard, a KANJI (Chinese character) conversion part 12 converts the inputted character into KANJI. A near-synonymn conversion part 15 converts converted KANJI into the near-synonymn. To put it in details, the near-synonymn conversion part 15 calls the near-synonymn of a conversion candidate from a near-synonymn dictionary 16 when a near-synonymn conversion key is depressed. A near- synonymn display part 17 displays the convaerted near-synonymn. A system can proceed to the near-synonymn conversion part 15 after a character input part 11 without using the KANJI conversion part 12. The near-synonymn can be much more restricted by permitting the near-synonymn conversion part 15 to convert decided KANJI into the near-synonymn after KANJI is once decided in the KANJI conversion part 12. Thus, the appropriate near-synonymn is retrieved in shorter time.
