1. The invention concerns a method of exploitation of thick of volume up to 5 m deposits of useful mineral, particularly coal, deposited steeply at angle 60 degrees under hard-mining rocks and not demonstrating tendency to reconsolidate, by means of longwall longitudinal completely mechanised system, characterised in that longwall is run with shifting it on top by approximately 4 degrees in relation to its main perpendicular decline, on one layer, with optional leaving of mineral rushing in floor, on which longwall complex can move, however, deposit is first mined in roof-adjacent section by means of mining machine moving downwards with immediate building over of roof with expandable roof-bars, and during movement upwards further section of deposit is mined, and after shifting of mechanised housing by mining machine web fall of roof is controlled following immediately on the entire length of longwall including under- and over-longwall so that it runs maximum up to 3 m beyond line of housing, next in a continuous manner to cavity behind housing is supplied dry filling until filling up without the need to execute in mined area a makeshift housing and filling dam.
