The present invention relates to novel substituted 1,2,4-oxadiazole derivatives of the formula (I) and to their stereoisomers IMAGE in which R1 is hydrogen, C1-8-alkyl which is optionally substituted by halogen, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, hydroxyl, aryl, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl or cycloalkyl, R2 represents hydrogen, halogen, NO2, CN, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy or thioalkyl, R3 represents hydrogen, halogen, NO2, CN, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy or thioalkyl, R4 represents OH, SH, haloalkoxy, haloalkylthio, haloalkylsulphinyl, haloalkylsulphonyl, aryloxy, aralkoxy, arylthio, aralkylthio, alkylenedioxy, haloalkylenedioxy, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, acylamino, carbamoyl, alkylsulphinyl, alkylsulphonyl, arylsulphinyl, arylsulphonyl, sulphonylamino, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkylcarbonyloxy, alkoxyalkyl, alkoxyalkoxy or hydroxyalkoxy, where R4, in the event that at least one of the radicals R2 or R3 has a meaning other than hydrogen, additionally represents halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy or thioalkyl, and where R4, in the event that R1 represents optionally substituted C1-8-alkyl, additionally represents alkoxy, processes for their preparation, and their use as endoparasiticides.
