WATER CUTOFF METHOD FOR RECLAMATION REVETMENT

PURPOSE: To provide a sure water cutoff by feeding a mixture mixed with a slow-hardening solidifying agent into the viscous soil from the root of a caisson to the sope toe of a riprap mound via the tremie pipe of a barge. ;CONSTITUTION: In forming an industrial waste reclamation revetment, viscous soil is excavated from the viscous ground in the reclaimed ground or the like, and it is fed into the mixer of a barge 1. A slow-hardening solidifying agent such as cement or coal and water as required are added into the mixer for kneading. A mixture 14 of the viscous soil and solidifying agent is fed to the slope toe of a riprap mound 13 from the root of a caisson via a tremie pipe 3, and it is uniformly laid via its fluidity. An echo sounding machine 4 is provided at the tip of the pipe 3 as required, and the laying state may be controlled on the real-time basis for construction. The viscous soil having a small water permeability coefficient and the slow-hardening solidifying agent generating no construction joint are used, thus a water cutoff can be surely performed, the mixture 14 is not required to be fed over the whole area because of fluidity, and the reduction of the capacity of the reclaimed ground can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
