The invention relates to an apparatus for continuous comminution, homogenisation and dispersion of pumpable materials, such as solids/liquid mixtures having high solids concentrations. In a stator/rotor system the product is passed through a shearing field, differently shaped radially extending grooves in the rotor and stator achieving uniform mixing and thus complete homogeneity of the material to be mixed.
