HYDRAZINE COMPLEX COMPOUND, SOLID SOLUTION POWDER USING THE SAME, ALUMINA-ZIRCONIA BASED POWDERY MATERIAL, ALUMINA-ZIRCONIA BASED CERAMIC BODY, ALUMINA-ZIRCONIA BASED ABRASIVE GRAIN AND THESE PRODUCTION
HYDRAZINE COMPLEX COMPOUND, SOLID SOLUTION POWDER USING THE SAME, ALUMINA-ZIRCONIA BASED POWDERY MATERIAL, ALUMINA-ZIRCONIA BASED CERAMIC BODY, ALUMINA-ZIRCONIA BASED ABRASIVE GRAIN AND THESE PRODUCTION
PURPOSE: To obtain a uniform and fine ceramic body, abrasive grain, powder and complex compound for these raw material having excellent strength and toughness by allowing aluminum and zirconium or yttrium to react with hydrazine. ;CONSTITUTION: A binuclear complex expressed by a formula (each of X1 and X2 is Al, Zr or Y) and formed by the coordinate bond of aluminum, zirconium or yttrium is obtained by dissolving AlCl3, ZrCl4 and YCl3 in a distilled water to prepare an aq. solution of 0.05-2mol% expressed in terms of oxide and adding hydrazine thereinto while stirring at 40-60°C. A solid solution powder is obtained by cleaning the binuclear complex to remove the unreached material and NH4Cl and drying at ≤150°C, then pulverizing and heating in the air at 300-600°C for 3hr to remove hydrazine. The powdery material is obtained by heating the solid solution powder at 900-1300°C in a electric furnace and crystallizing it. The ceramic body is obtained by die-molding and HIP treating the powdery material. The alumina-zirconia abrasive grain is finally obtained by firing the complex compound under a normal pressure at 1350-1600°C for 1-3hr.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
