NO-REMOVING AGENT, NOX-REMOVING AGENT, NO-REMOVING UNIT AND NOX-REMOVING UNIT

PURPOSE: To obtain an NO removing agent and an NOx removing agent, each of which has high removing performance at ordinary temp., a long service life and heat stability and can industrially easily be produced at a low cost and also to obtain removing units using these removing agents respectively. ;CONSTITUTION: The NO removing agent is produced by adding and depositing aniline and a salt or hydroxide of an alkali metal, or a salt, hydroxide or carbonate of an alkaline earth metal to and on activated carbon and accordingly, this agent has high performance with respect to NO removal, a long service life and heat resistance and also can industrially easily be produced at a low cost since aniline is added and deposited as an aq. solution to and on activated carbon. Also, by further adding and depositing an amino compound having primary and secondary amino groups to and on the resulting activated carbon, the objective high performance NOx removing agent can be obtained.
