PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect uniformly sized fishes samples in a short time and dispense with heavy equipment at pulling-up a collecting device onto a ship. ;SOLUTION: An upper shelf 2 is formed on an upper side of a gill net fabric 1 having an optimum mesh size corresponding to target fish species and a lower shelf 3 is formed on a lower side of the gill net fabric. A float 4 is provided at the upper shelf and the lower shelf is made to a sinker cord. A towing rope 5 imparted with a weight in water is connected to a front upper end, a front weight 7 is provided at a front lower end, a rear weight 8 is provided at a rear lower end and a rear float 9 is connected to a rear upper end, all in the towing direction of the gill net fabric, then total weight in water excepting the towing rope and the front weight is made to be zero.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
