PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve traveling performance by making a triangular crawler easily climb over an obstacle and alleviating shock in climbing. ;SOLUTION: A triangle crawler 2 is provided with a driving wheel 3, a first rolling wheel 4, a second rolling wheel 5, an intermediate rolling wheel 22, and a crawler belt 6 so wound as to be brought in external contact with respective rolling wheels 3, 4, 5, 22 and as to be formed into an approximately triangle shape. The second rolling wheel 5 is so provided as to be longitudinally (laterally) moved in relation to a frame 10 through an arm 13 and a guide rod 17, and the second rolling wheel 5 is energized to the side for pressing the crawler belt 6 by a coil spring 20 mounted on the guide rod 17. When tension of the crawler belt 6 is increased on the rear side of the triangular crawler 2 by the contact of the triangular crawler 2 to be advanced left with the step, the second rolling wheel 5 is moved forward, load to be applied on the front end side of the triangular crawler 2 is decreased, and therefore, the head of the triangular crawler 2 can be easily raised.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
