This invention relates to a reinforced geotechnical structure especially for the construction of embankments, anti-erosion systems and reinforced ground which has the special feature that it comprises a two-component lath- shaped member defining a first portion of plastics material, a central portion of metal material, and a second portion of plastics material. The central portion is interconnected between the first and second portions. The central portion can be bent to form a lower length and an upper length which are available as extensions of the said first portion and said second portion respectively inserted in the ground along different horizontal planes. The remainder of the central length which joins the lower and upper lengths forms the visible front surface of the ground revetment. IMAGE
