The invention relates to a process for the application of catalytic hydrorefining techniques to the production of aviation kerosene and motor diesel fuel through a single stage of treatment, characterised in that a single charge comprising two oil fractions comprising aviation kerosene and motor diesel fuel are subjected to processing, comprising the stages of: preheating the charge by heat exchange with intermediate and final products, mixing the charge with a current of hydrogen-rich gas, further heating the charge until it reaches the reaction temperature, passing the heated charge through at least one bed of catalyst, cooling the charge leaving the bed of catalyst by heat exchange in the reboilers of product stabilisation and fractionation columns, further cooling the reaction product by heat exchange with the charge, separating the condensates forming the liquid phase in one or more stages at decreasing temperatures, feeding the said condensates, jointly or separately, without the use of pumping means to a first distillation column for the separation of light fractions and the quantitative dissolution of hydrogen sulphide, feeding the product to a second distillation column for fractionation into two end products.
