P A turbofan (10) with double flow, preferably with separate flow or with a short basket (22), comprises two thrust reversing doors (24) normally received in housings (26) formed in the basket (22 ) and completely located outside of the inner envelope (20) thereof. When a thrust reversal effect is desired, the doors (24) are brought into the extension of the blower channel (16), behind the rear end of the nacelle. Thus, the doors (24) are not subjected to the secondary flow (F2) of the reactor when the airplane is in flight and the interior envelope (20) of the nacelle does not have any leakage or discontinuity and can be completely treated with noise reduction . /P
