PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate to compare the actually measured data with the designed value data input to a control board and to automatically decide the non- defective or defective of a member to be measured by automatically and continuously measuring the measuring target attached to the predetermined measuring sites of the front and rear end faces and right and left sides of a lengthy member to be measured by NC control. ;SOLUTION: A box girder 3 detachably attached with measuring targets 6, 7, 8 at the ends of the girder 3 and the front and rear ends of a flange 3c for constituting it are carried and set to the ends of the girder 3 along the central axis a-a at the given position in a reference trestle 1 provided between the parallel both guide trestles 4. The targets 6, 7, 8 are collimationmeasured in the decided order at the points (c), (d) according to an automatic measurement flow chart by a three-dimensional automatic measuring unit 9 along the trestle 4 by the NC control based on the designed value data of the girder 3 previously input to the board 5. If the error of the data of the sites from the designed value data falls within the allowed range, it is decided to be non-defective, and except the case, an alarm is generated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
