PURPOSE: To prepare a metallic film excellent in peeling resistance. ;CONSTITUTION: The metallic inorganic film 4 consists of the intermediate layer 6 consisting of many granular metallic crystals 5 grown on a base material 2 and a surface layer 8 having many columnar metallic crystals 7 grown on the intermediate layer 6. The main orienting crystal face participating in the formation of the columnar metallic crystal 7 among various orienting crystal faces directed toward the film surface 4a in the surface layer 8 is the same as the main orienting crystal face highest in presence among the various orienting crystal faces directed toward the film surface 4a in the boundary region 6b of the intermediate layer 6 on the surface layer side. The intermediate layer 6 consisting of the granular metallic crystal 5 is highly adhesive to the base material 2. Further, since the boundary region 6b and the surface layer 8 have the same main orienting crystal face, the layers 6 and 8 are compatible with each other, and the adhesive strength of the surface layer 8 to the intermediate layer 6 is increased.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
