METHOD FOR THE TREATMENT OF WASTE WATERS FROM ACRYLONITILEPRODUCTION

The method is applied for the decomposition of organic wastesand ammonia in waste waters from acrylonitrile production. Itincludes interaction of the waste waters subjected to evaporationwith a catalyst at elevated temperatures so that the volatileorganic compounds and the amonia shall be converted in a mixturecontaining hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide which aresubsequently separated and removed from the flow.
