The present invention refers to a method to model or to represent with models after a non deformed initial state, a geological basin evolution in time passage, taking into account at the same time crumbling throughout major tectonic discontinuities with sediment internal deformation, and b) mechanical compression due to sediments burial by tectonic deformation or sedimentation. After a previous subdivision of basin geological objects in certain number of stratums or banks, by limits (stratigraphic discontinuities which surround banks, blatts which surround crusts or soil parts which are detached, etc.) from which geometric position is known, banks are discretized or isolated by meshing, tectonic deformation of each discretized or isolated stratum is separately determined, respecting as best as possible their thickness and their length, and meshing is modified to take into account compression associated to vary burial of elements which form meshing or mesh. All evolution process intermediate geometries are obtained as an increase. Performed model allows to take into account permeability variation from fluid expelling by compression and from thermal transference at basin scale by fluids circulation. Application to location of hydrocarbons underground reserves is also described.
