PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pearlescent plastic excellent in biodegradability by mixing a biodegradable polyester resin with at least one member selected from among a polycarbonate resin, an ABS resin, and a methacrylic resin in a specified radio. ;SOLUTION: Seventy to 30 wt.% biodegradable polyester resin is mixed with 30-70 wt.% at least one member selected from among a polycarbonate resin, an AS resin, and methacrylic resin. The biodegradable polyester resin is a polyester resin which is a molecule comprising 6C or lower polymer units and having a ratio of the number of oxygen atoms to that of carbon atoms of 0.3-1.0 and is exemplified by poly-L-lactic acid. Further, by adding at most 30 wt.% reinforcement, a pearlescent plastic having improved mechanical strengths can be obtained. This plastic is formed into an article by injection molding, direct blow molding, biaxial orientation blow molding or injection molding or blow molding including injection blow molding.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
