PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit heat retaining and heat insulating effect by adding carbon, paper sludge ash, diatomaceous earth, chamotte to clayey soil and baking at high temperature so as to form porous construction holding minute thin holes. ;SOLUTION: Paper sludge ash, carbon, diatomaceous earth, chamotte, coloring pigment, and the like are compounded and mixed with clay, the mixture is forming-pressed, baked at high temperature, and hence traces in which carbon and the ash portion of paper sludge ash are completely burned to disappear, are formed into minute thin holes. Next the diatomaceous earth of natural porous construction also increases the minute thin holes, and high grade clayey kaolin as the main ingredient of paper sludge ash becomes ceramics building material of porous construction formed with minute thin holes at high temperature baking. Next, water is held in the thin holes, water exceeding water retentive allowance quantity is discharged, retentive water lowers surface temperature by heat of vaporization when water is evaporated from the thin holes by a capillary phenomenon, and in the case of low open air temperature, the inner temperature is not changed by lowering of evaporative power of water to exhibit heat retaining and heat insulating effect.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
