FIELD: radiation- caused diseases. SUBSTANCE: to perform medical and prophylactic works for early disclosure of evidences of chronic radiation effect, invention recommends investigation of frequency of reproductively lost and surviving under cultivation progenies of chronically in vivo irradiated lymphocytes from peripheral blood of children living in radionuclide-polluted regions. To that end, blood is taken under sterile conditions, peripheral blood lymphocytes are cultured for 72 hr in 15% nutrient medium, and smears are vitally stained with 0.1% methylene blue solution. Reproductively lost cells in lymphocyte culture can be detected after 2-5 cell divisions. Method increases accuracy in estimation of hereditary cell-lethal effect for progenies of parent lymphocytes, reduces traumatism when taking blood, reduces time to reveal long-term effects of chronic in vivo irradiation on progenies of irradiated cells, and enables early diagnostics and prevention of radiation damages in human body.
