PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently induce and grow bamboo grass shoot tubers by culturing the explants or the like of bamboo grass in a liquid medium and to accomplish an efficient rooting from the shoots afforded from the above shoot tubers.;SOLUTION: Bamboo grass shoot tubers are induced and grown by culturing the explants or shoots of bamboo grass in a liquid medium containing pref. MS inorganic salt, MSB2 medium, 6-benzylaminopurine or the like, wherein it is preferable that the liquid medium is subjected to culture operation under shaking.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
