"SYSTEM AND PROCESS TO CAPTURE GEOTHERMAL HEAT, CATALYTIC DEVICE FOR HARVEST PRODUCTS FROM AN ENDOTHERMAL REACTION, THERMOCOUPLE DEVICE FOR ELECTRICITY GENERATION FROM A WELL AND COMBINED TURBINE FOR USE IN GEOTHETIC SYSTEMS FOR PRODUCTION. A system (10) for generating electricity from geothermal energy is based on the use of endothermic reactions at the bottom of a well (12) to capture and store geothermal heat, and exothermic reactions at the top of the well (12) to release heat stored in the products of endothermic reactions. In a preferred embodiment, the endothermic reaction is the decomposition of water. To induce the endothermic reaction, as well as to collect and separate the resulting products, a catalytic device (22) is used where each type of product selectively diffuses into its individual ducts (24, 26). The endothermic products undergo the exothermic reaction in a combustion turbine (240), and the products of the exothermic reaction are immediately condensed in a condenser (242). In a preferred embodiment, the condenser condenses steam in liquid water to be returned to the bottom of the well (12), thereby creating a closed system.
