PURPOSE: A production process of a zinc oxide and a potassium chloride is provided wherein impurities are refined in the wasted liquid to recover a zinc in the form of the zinc oxide and potassium chloride as well. CONSTITUTION: A production process of the zinc oxide contains the following steps of: (1) a first step wherein a potassium hydroxide with 1/200-1/50 mole number of the zinc mole number in the wasted liquid is added to the zinc plating wasted liquid, stirred and ripen to adsorb impurities and the mixture is filtered; (2) a second wherein the solution including the zinc is added to a potassium hydroxide solution with keeping pH as over 13 to do neutralization process and stirred to produce a zinc oxide for over 1 hour; and (3) a third wherein the oxide is repeatedly filtered, washed and dried. For the production process of the potassium chloride, the first and second step is the same as those of the zinc oxide. The third step is that the produced oxide is filtered and eliminated. The fourth step is that a hydrochloric acid is added to the potassium chloride solution to keep pH as 6-8 and a crystallization is proceeded after a condensation process.
