FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: first, intrusions from picrite, picrite-dolerite, and phengite-magnesite metasomatites are sampled for chemical analysis. From analytical data, one estimates ore-bearing capacity of intrusions. In addition, using microprobe analysis, samples are iteratively analyzed for contents of iron, nickel, copper, cobalt, platinum, palladium, sulfur, and following oxides: TiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O3, MgO, MnO, NiO, Cr2O3, V2O3, ZnO, SiO2, CaO, and PtO2. Data obtained allow one to judge whether samples belong to platinum- bearing ores, while observation frequencies and characteristics of densities of valuable component s' distribution reflect degree of ore concentratibility and allow one to conclude whether explored areas are perspective.
