Electromagnetic stimulation of cartilage tissue involves using electromagnetic signals produced by pulse modulated D.C. current with frequency of 1-30 Hz, field strength of 10-20G
The method involves the use of electromagnetic signals produced by pulsed, pulse modulated D.C. current with a frequency of 1-30 Hz and field strength of 10-20G to stimulate cartilage tissue and new cartilage generation. The form of the modulation is quasi-rectangular. Fibroblast growth factor treatment can be used simultaneously with the electromagnetic stimulation.
