A rotation-symmetrical body constitutes a diamond leveling disk and on its peripheral surface and/or on its one face side has irregularly formed diamond granules. On is peripheral edge recesses are formed, in which elongated diamonds (6) are fixed. The recesses are grooves in a face side of the leveling disk (1), which run closely radially, extending into the peripheral edge. The elongated diamonds are fixed to the leveling disk by adhesive and then metal is applied to them. On at least one further edge elongated diamonds are closely radially fitted.
