STEEL PLATE SEGMENT FOR TUNNEL LINING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel segment for tunnel lining capable of avoiding waste in material and securing liquid tightness.;SOLUTION: The steel segment is equipped with a skin plate, a stiffening plate and stiffening rib. The skin plate 30 has an intermediate portion 36 and two side portions 37, 38. The intermediate portion and two side portions are formed by bending one sheet of plate member to form a U-shape essentially on a virtual plane including the axis of the tunnel. The skin plate has a front shape curved to a circular arc shape with two side portions located at the inner side of the intermediate portion. Two stiffening plates 32 are respectively attached so as to have the two side portions face each other. A plurality of stiffening ribs 34, 40 are so attached that they essentially become perpendicular to the stiffening plates.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
