The cooling energy utilization employs a small circulation pump in parallel with the solar circuit and temperature-controlled diversion of a partial flow in the presence of the cooling energy, for use in a building or a technical cooling process. The extracted water/antifreeze mixture is fed back to the solar circuit after the solar circulation pump, in front of the collector. Also included are Independent claims for the following: a cooling device using cooling energy obtained from a solar collector; a cooling register using a water/glycol or water/antifreeze mixture; a seasonal or intermediate cooling energy store; utilization of a solar collector cooling energy for room cooling or room air-conditioning; utilization of a building heat pump cooling energy.
