PURPOSE: A system and a method for education and assessment on a network are provided to overcome time and space limits and to improve the quality of the contents of education and assessment by realizing group education on the Internet or other networks. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of verifying users by identifying the client terminals of the users allowed to the client terminals, storing the contents of education and assessment corresponding to difficulties and classification codes, packaging the contents and storing the contents encoded in a specific data format in the user terminals, transmitting a content package to the client terminals before education or assessment begins(53), transmitting synchronizing data for the fair progression of education or assessment to the client terminals, reorganizing the contents of education and assessment(56), displaying the result of assessment on the client terminals and transmitting the data to a server by restoring the data to the original state(62), and processing the user data corresponding to a purpose(63).
