The thrust generator has a housing with an air inlet, a compressor drive with an energy supply, and a jet outlet. A combustion motor or an electromotor (4) is used for the compressor drive, coupled to a turbine compressor (1), behind the turbine compressor within an inner zone (9) of the housing (3) which is under an overpressure.
