A current supply module for the supply of electrical energy to a load has: - a switch with a first state for the application of an electric potential to the terminals of the load with a supply current level and a second state for the application of no electric potential to the terminals; - an oscillator for alternating activation of the first state for a first time and for the activation of the second state for a second time for the reduction of an average voltage which is applied to the load over a time to a lower voltage level than the supply voltage level; and - an energy storage circuit for the accumulation of electrical energy at least during the second state for the current supply of the oscillator.
