METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR CALCULATING LIMIT STRENGTH OF BUILDING, STORAGE MEDIUM STORING LIMIT STRENGTH CALCULATION PROGRAM OF THE BUILDING, SYSTEM FOR DISCUSSING LIMIT STRENGTH OF THE BUILDING AND DESIGN METHOD OF THE BUILDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating limit strength of a building easy to calculate the limit strength of the building.;SOLUTION: An acceleration distribution coefficient Bdi is calculated as a product (Bdi= A×(bdi)) of an acceleration distribution coefficient ratio bdi and a constant A. The constant A is a product of a value (p) calculated in response to the story of the building and a limit natural period Td, a value (q) calculated in accordance with a ratio of an effective mass to the whole mass of the building, and an effective mass ratio dividing the effective mass by the sum total of each floor mass (mi). Earthquake force acting on each floor of the building is calculated on the basis of the calculated acceleration distribution coefficient Bdi, the limit natural period Td and an amplification rate Gs of acceleration due to ground. The seismic force acting on each floor of the building and design strength Qdi of the building are compared with each other, and a wall amount of the building is set in a condition that the design strength Qdi is large. Complicated calculation is unnecessary, the limit strength can be calculated efficiently and design can be efficiently performed in a short time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
