PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deciding method for consistency of MIB data with which the occurrence of an erroneous decision in the case of carrying out up-loading/ down-loading is prevented and accuracy in the decision of MIB data consistency is improved.;SOLUTION: The deciding method has a step (ST11) for deciding consistency of the MIB data between OLT and ONT by comparing the contents of MIB synchronizing counters, a step (ST13) for deciding the consistency of the MIB data between the OLT and the ONT by comparing transaction ID, a step (ST12) for matching the contents of the MIB synchronizing counters between the OLT and the ONT, and steps (ST14 and ST15) for matching the transaction ID between the OLT and the ONT and matching the MIB data between the OLT and ONT.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
