Sensor comprises a cube with a black sphere mounted in its center using three pairs of springs along each of three coordinate axes. Light emitter-photocell pairs are also integrated in the cube along each of the coordinate axes. If the sphere accelerates the resistance of the photocells changes and can be measured. The cube is attached to the surface of the object whose acceleration is to be measured.
