A feed line (3) for the liquid to be investigated is connected to a collection line (2) in the dosing unit via a feed valve (4). Reagent feed lines (5a, 6a, 7a, 8a) open into reagent inlets (5c, 6c, 7c, 8c) via switching valves (5b, 6b, 7b, 8b). The reagent inlets are spaced in the longitudinal direction of the collection line. A sample line (9) is connected to the collection line and contains the cuvette and conveying pump.
