Oil pressure and gas pressure are determined by electronic pressure sensor (10,11). The oil pressure and gas pressure relationship is determined by a programmable logic controller (PLC) (12), which produces an alarm signal to shutoff the compressor, if the relationship undershoots the minimum relationship.
