Process for production, development and storing of entomorphagic insects comprises: (1) laying adults G0 on finely divided smooth vegetable material; (2) placing vegetable material in ventilated rearing chambers before the emergence of larvae G1; (3) allowing the larvae to emerge and develop to the adult stage G1; (4) optionally storing the mature adults G1 and; (5) using narcosis, recovering adults G1 and storing them.
