WASHING MACHINE WITH OZONE GENERATOR AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WASHING TO REDUCE COST OF DISINFECTANT AND TO PREVENT ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

PURPOSE: A washing machine with an ozone generator and a washing control method are provided to reduce cost of disinfectant, to prevent environmental pollution, and to deodorize the laundry and the washing machine by sterilizing and bleaching the laundry efficiently with ozone water from the ozone generator. CONSTITUTION: A control unit supplies water to a mixing tub(20) by opening a first feed valve(7) and shutting a second feed valve(30) in inputting a sterilization course signal by selecting a sterilization course button after putting detergent in a storage box(2). Ozone gas is generated by operating an ozone generator(10), and supplied to washing water in the mixing tub to generate ozone water. Operation of the ozone generator is stopped in generating ozone water properly in the mixing tub, and ozone water is supplied to the storage box by opening the second feed valve to supply ozone water to a washing tub(3) with detergent. Washing is performed for the predetermined time by rotating a pulsator or the washing tub with a washing motor(5) in finishing feeding ozone water.
