CANINE DISTEMPER VIRUS ISOLATED FROM KOREAN DOG AND RECOMBINANT VACCINE USING THE SAME TO IMPROVE THE EFFICACY OF CANINE DISTEMPER VACCINE

PURPOSE: A canine distemper virus isolated from a Korean dog and a recombinant vaccine using the same are provided, thereby improving the efficacy of canine distemper vaccine on the Korean dog. CONSTITUTION: The canine distemper virus isolated from a Korean dog is Asia/H2 type of canine distemper virus(KCCM 10467), wherein the Asia/H2 type of canine distemper virus(KCCM 10467) comprises H gene having the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1; and the Asia/H2 type of canine distemper virus(KCCM 10467) is isolated from the Korean dog infected with canine distemper virus. The recombinant vaccine comprises the total or a portion of the Asia/H2 type of canine distemper virus(KCCM 10467).
