PURPOSE: A metallic optical cable of a circular structure using a tight buffer type optical fiber unit is provided to simplify a manufacturing process by removing a process for coating an external tensile member. CONSTITUTION: A metallic optical cable of a circular structure using a tight buffer type optical fiber unit includes a tensile line, an optical fiber unit, a metallic tensile wire, and a plastic resin. The tensile line(51) is extended from a center of an optical cable to the longitudinal direction of the optical cable. The tensile line is formed with a metallic material. The optical fiber unit(60) includes tight buffer optical fibers. A cable core assembly is formed by the tensile line, the optical fiber unit, and the metallic tensile wire(70). The plastic resin is used for covering the cable core assembly.
