PURPOSE: A washing machine using a resonant motor is provided to reduce the washing time and to improve the washing performance, by executing washing of the laundry by rotation and resonance. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine using a resonant motor(104) comprises an outer case(101) constituting the exterior; an inner case(102) in which water is contained; a wash tub(103) in which the laundry is received; the motor fixed to the lower side of the inner case and directly connected to the lower end of the wash tub; and a resonant mechanism(110) for controlling the rotation of the motor when the motor rotates right and reversely and for making the motor resonant. The inner case is fixed to the inside of the outer case. The wash tub is rotatably installed in the inner case. The motor is fixed to the lower side of the inner case. The resonant mechanism is combined to the lower side of the motor.
