The assembly (1) to degas at least one suspension (2), e.g. of paper fibers, has a cylindrical vessel (3) on a horizontal axis (3a). At least two distribution pipes (4.1-4.3) feed at least two suspension flows (2.1-2.3) of preferably different qualities into the vessel. The vessel has outflow openings (15,17) for the suspensions (2') which are free of gas, an outlet (7) for the separated gas, and an overflow (20) for surplus suspension (2).
