The piston (10) has a head (12) in its upper portion and an axial skirt (14) in a lower portion coupled to a connecting rod by an articulation (A2). The articulation has an axle mounted in two cavities of another axle (16). The cavities each has an annular cylindrical insert (24) that delimits a bore (26) receiving an extreme cavity coupled to the later axle. The insert is inserted in a case during molding of the piston. An Independent claim is also included for a procedure for fabrication of a piston.
