ENERGY-SAVING EVALUATION DEVICE AND ENERGY-SAVING EVALUATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy-saving evaluation device and an energy-saving evaluation system, capable of evaluating an energy-saving action performed by each user.;SOLUTION: This energy-saving evaluation device determines whether a corresponding electrical apparatus is in the using state or in the off-state based on a power consumption measured by a power supply monitor. When determined that the electrical apparatus is in the off-state, the energy-saving evaluation device measures the time of the off-state (off-time). Then, after elapse of a measuring term T0 (for example, 24 hours) set beforehand, the energy-saving evaluation device totalizes all off-times measured during the measuring term to determine the total off-time. Thereafter, the energy-saving evaluation device performs energy-saving evaluation, based on the determined total off-time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
