JOINT CONNECTION CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR CONCRETE BLOCK, CONCRETE BLOCK, AND CONNECTION JOINT FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection joint construction method for ordinary curb blocks, which facilitates the setting of a joint distance for a long road with many curves and bends, makes it easy to fill respective counter end faces between the curb blocks with highly fluid mortar without forming cavities, secures sufficient adhesiveness between the curb blocks to make them an integral structure, and improves the appearance of the curb blocks that is impaired due to nonuniform joints.;SOLUTION: According to the connection joint construction method for concrete blocks, a plurality of curb blocks 1 are arranged with respective end faces 1' opposed to each other. A hollow joint frame 2 with an upper end opening, which has an outer periphery almost identical with that of the counter end face 1', is engaged with respective end faces 1' between them. Then kneaded fluid mortar 3 is filled into a hollow 2' of the joint frame 2 via the upper end opening 2" to connect the curb blocks 1 together.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
