PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce a natural ground so that a tunnel is not brought to an abnormal state when the natural ground in the upper section and side of an existing tunnel is excavated.;SOLUTION: In the reinforcing structure 10 of a ground, the reinforcing structure 10 is composed of rod-shaped sections 12 obliquely or vertically extended to a lower section from the predetermined excavating surface B of the ground (the natural ground 1) and anchor bodies 11 installed at the lower ends of the rod-shaped sections 12, and tension members 13, to which a tensile force is applied, are buried to the rod-shaped bodies 12 and the anchor bodies 11. Since the rod-shaped sections 12 are fixed onto the ground by the anchor bodies 11 mounted on lower sections while the tension members 13, to which the tensile force is applied, are buried to the rod-shaped sections 12 and the anchor bodies 11, a downward load can be applied to the ground by an adhesive power among the ground and the rod-shaped bodies 12. Accordingly, the uplift of the excavating surface due to the reduction of an overburden load can be limited when the ground is excavated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
