PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental economical efficiency evaluating method and an environmental economical efficiency evaluating program of risk of a harmful substance by which risk assessment is fully reflected and economical efficiency of human health affecting damage in a life cycle of a product can be evaluated.;SOLUTION: Evaluation items such as carcinogenicity are classified into ranks corresponding to their degrees and evaluation items such as hardly decomposable property are classified into categories corresponding to their degrees apart from rank classification. At each stage in the life cycle of the product, while computing harmfulness as points by using a calculation formula associated with the rank, overall points are computed by multiplying the harmfulness points by a weighting factor associated with the category. Further environmental economical efficiency of the harmful substance is computed from a ratio of the overall points by making reference to environmental economical efficiency calculated in advance to a volatile organic solvent. Thereby to whole life cycle, environmental economical efficiency can be evaluated by being tinged with difference of accumulative property and indirect exposure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
