PURPOSE: To facilitate the post-treatment after dehydration and the utilization of a dehydrated component by separating impurities, stone lumps and sand from sludge when dredging sludge is dehydrated and dehydrating fine granular soil under specific pressure by a filter press. CONSTITUTION: Dredging soil 41 is collected from a water channel 40 by a bucket dredging ship 1 equipped with dredging buckets 2 to be stored in a tank 3. After primary impurities 16 are separated, the solid of primary separated sludge is slurried and fine granular soil bonded to stone lumps, gravel 17 and sand 18 is washed off. After stone lumps are separated from the slurry after treatment, the slurry is subjected to secondary separation and tertiary separation to be stored in a relay slurry tank 34. Herein, the slurry is sent to a high pressure filter press 36 to be filtered under pressure of 1.9-5.9HPa. As a result, a hard slurry dehydrated cake low in water content is obtained.
