PURPOSE: A GIS(Geographic Information System) based water quality modeling method for a freshwater lake through pollutant load estimation is provided to suggest a systematic and efficient management plan for the freshwater lake by accurately estimating the pollutant loads in basin through calculation of unit pollutant and drainage. CONSTITUTION: An origin load is calculated by using a pollutant scale and origin unit information as input information, and a result value is stored. A drainage load is calculated by using the origin load and a drainage ratio, and the result value is stored. A runoff load is calculated by using the drainage load and a runoff ratio, and the result value is stored. An inflow concentration is calculated by using an outflow, which is a result of a basin water balance mode, and the calculated runoff load, and the result value is stored. A border concentration value is calculated by performing a river water quality model with the inflow concentration, and the result value is stored. A lake water quality model is performed by using the border concentration value as the input information.
